Ireland sells €1,000 million of its 30-Year bond by auction

12 March 2015 - The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) has today completed an auction of €1,000 million of the benchmark 30-Year Irish Government bond, 2% Treasury Bond 2045, at a yield of 1.307%.

Total bids received amounted to €2,070 million which was 2.1 times the amount on offer.

With the completion of today's auction the NTMA has raised €9.5 billion in the bond markets this year.
