Ireland sells €1.5 billion of bonds maturing in 2034 and 2055 by auction

9 October 2025 – The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) has today completed an auction of €1.5 billion of the benchmark Irish Government bonds, 2.6% Treasury Bond 2034 and 3.15% Treasury Bond 2055.

With the completion of today’s auction, the NTMA has issued €8.25 billion of benchmark bonds in 2025. This completes the NTMA’s benchmark bond issuance for the year. The NTMA will publish its Annual Funding Plan for 2026 in December.
