Ireland sells €750 million of its bond maturing in 2030 by auction

3 November 2016 - The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) has today completed an auction of €750 million of the benchmark Irish Government 2.4% Treasury Bond 2030, at a yield of 0.978%.

Total bids received amounted to €1,938 million which was 2.6 times the amount on offer.

With the completion of today's final bond auction of 2016, the NTMA has issued €8.25 billion from its stated target range of €6 - 10 billion in the bond markets this year.
