NTMA to auction two bonds on 14th February 2019

11 February 2019 - The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) announces that it will hold a bond auction on Thursday, 14th February 2019. There will be two bonds offered in the auction.

The details of the auction are as follows:

  • Bonds to be auctioned 1.1% Treasury Bond 2029 and 1.7% Treasury Bond 2037
  • Auction size: €1,000 million to €1,250 million
  • Auction opens: 8:00 a.m.
  • Auction closes : 10:00 a.m.
  • Settlement Date: 18 February 2019

The auction will be conducted on the Bloomberg Auction System and will be confined to recognised Primary Dealers.

A non-competitive auction for 15 per cent of the amount sold in the competitive auction will immediately follow and will close at 10:00 a.m. on Monday 18 February 2019.
